New Challenges in Neural Computation (NC2)
Workshop of the
GI-Fachgruppe Neuronale Netze
and the
German Neural Networks Society
in connection to DAGM 2012, Graz
[Home][Call for Papers][Program]
Neural computation and biologically inspired data processing systems constitute essential topics in
artificial intelligence accompanied by a well established theoretical
foundation and numerous successful
applications in science and industry.
Caused by an increasing complexity of the involved data and underlying tasks,
modern information processing continues to pose challenging tasks to the field which are far from being
solved.
The goal of the workshop is to figure out paradigms, concepts, and models to extend
neural systems to these situations and to identify good
benchmark scenarios in which to test advanced capacities of model systems.
